Stay

Stunned at the choices hearts make
yearning for the one who'll your heart break
ignoring the melody of the quiet song
the one that quietens our restless fears,
the one for which unconsciously our souls long
and so we rarely recognize it even when we had it all along
and if we are fortunate enough to hear it..
we probably just catch the closing notes
as it walks out of our lives....
