Her

I deleted her number,
But I know it from memory.

I went out,
But I thought about her the whole time.

I tried to watch a movie,
But it reminded me of us.

I tried to listen to music,
But I gravitated towards what she likes.

I tried to sleep,
But I dreamt of her.

I had sex with someone else,
But I felt like I was cheating on her.

I’m trying to forget her,
But I can’t seem to get her out of my system.
