Guilty vs Innocent

I'm an uncle but it is bitter sweet for me
don’t get me wrong...I love my brother
but I get the vile taste in my mouth...
...when I see his significant other.
I am 27.

Two years, enough time
To heal a broken Heart and
Repair a damaged ego

But still...

Why did she contest us,
To pick the superior
Younger brother who at 25 years old,
Had no idea i had been left to the embrace... ...of the cold.
Never had a clue that we ever were

Now as i hold my God son...with a smile,
I can't help but feel
Indifferent.
