Friends (More Than?)

We are friends you see
And have been from way back
I love her and she is special to me
I recently realized that I have
Feelings of a romantic nature for her
I know that if I tell her this
Things might get complicated
And she might get hurt in the process
So I have no choice but to end our friendship
