Fear of the Unknown,
Colder than the wind to her cheek blown,
All she sees is fear,
Bloody red rosy are her eyes that tear due to fear,
What to do, what to say,
To sprint away from her phobia or to stay,
Face down she lies,
Dirt like mud on her face sprays.
He said he'd be here but he is taking so long,
They say with Him it takes time, and Despair is wrong.
Where are you?
I need you. NO. You KNOW I need you.
Alone she walks, to herself she talks,
Bees of thoughts swarm across her head,
Maybe its just her braids that are too tight, No.
She has to get past this obstacle.
Excuses cannot make up for the Hollowness in her Gut.
It’s like she can see her future right through an Oracle.
Parchments of words she writes, scribbles,
Rehearsing what she will do when the moment comes.
Deceive, Cover up, or protect the underground creatures.
Sigh.
Insomnia fills her body, grey skies in her dreams replace the sunny days.
At this point, she doesn't get to learn peoples true colours, but gets to understand their shades of grey. Funny. Pathetic. Hypocritical. Confused. Just like her.
Her ammunition is her sense of articulation.
Which seems to have evaporated lest she slips and fall
She finds comfort in the earthen floor and chooses to incline herself towards. . .well, towards her fear, whose direction she cannot face.
At this phase she lacks the ability to enact upon anything.
Four words keep wringing her mind because they keep ringing in her thoughts:
IT'S SAFER THAT WAY. IT'S SAFER THAT WAY.
