I am seated in a matatu.
The woman next to me is very pretty
I wouldn’t mind talking to her
But how do I do it with
a guaranteed positive response?
I try the subtle mysterious approach first
I look out the window and twist my body into a cool pose
Hoping she will notice me and say something
It doesn’t work. She hardly glances my way
Next, I try the stare approach
She stares back for a while but then turns away
Strike two. I decide to give it a final try
I turn to her, smile and say hi
She smiles back, says hi and we start conversing
Now why didn’t I try that in the beginning?

i like it. sometimes boys just dont get it until they have run around in circles.
Some of us are clueless so maybe that's y we behave as in the poem.
Oh, I so dislike a random guy's stares!!!!!
They probably don't mean anything by it, they are just curious most likely and don hv the guts to say hi.
Ignore Ignore Ignore...lol for the first two scenarios, then the 3rd senario i would smile n say hi and thats it..
I think coz we all fear rejection so we never want to seem too obvious.
